Our strength comes from our multidisciplinary approach, knowing that creative solutions to these problems will draw upon on our core disciplines: History, International Relations, Languages and Cultures, Philosophy, Politics and Religious Studies. &nbsp;The School of Global Affairs is home to a vibrant community of graduates, undergraduates, and world-leading academics.</p><p>The School of Global Affairs at Lancaster University is seeking to appoint a 1.0fte Lecturer in Global Religions for a fixed term of 12 months (1 August&ndash;31 July.)</p><p><strong><u>About you</u></strong></p><p>We are looking for a colleague who:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>has completed a PhD in a relevant field;</li><li>has experience of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level as appropriate to their career stage;</li><li>has started and is developing a significant programme of research;</li><li>has expertise in the general area of Religious Studies.</li></ul><p>The colleague appointed will join the Religious Studies disciplinary group within the School of Global Affairs, where they will receive supportive career mentorship and the opportunity to participate in a vibrant academic community.</p><p><strong><u>About Lancaster University</u></strong></p><p>Situated just outside the vibrant and historic city of Lancaster in north-west England, Lancaster University is consistently ranked among the UK&rsquo;s top 15 universities in major league tables.
