The Department of Entrepreneurship and Strategy (ENST) is seeking to appoint a Student Programmes Coordinator to work within our Professional Services team, contributing to the smooth running of our programme administration.  You will join a friendly and collegiate department. You will support key departmental leads in a busy academic department, working collaboratively with other departments, faculties and student services across the university.

ENST is one of six academic departments within LUMS – a world-ranked international business school which has topped the UK research rankings for nearly two decades.

This is an exciting opportunity that would be suitable for applicants who wish to gain experience of working in a busy HE environment.  This varied and challenging role would suit an administrator with the ability to demonstrate impressive organisational and administrative skills, have first rate interpersonal skills and would be an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a student-facing role within a successful Professional Services team. This is ideally suited to a highly motivated team player with excellent communication skills and an exploring mind, with the ability to work calmly under pressure.

We are committed to family-friendly and flexible working policies on an individual basis, as well as the Athena Swan Charter, which recognises and celebrates good employment practice undertaken to address gender equality in higher education. We are committed to enhancing the diversity of our workforce and ensuring our culture is inclusive and welcome applications from people in all diversity groups.

This is a part time role of 22.5 hours per week offered on a temporary basis as a maternity cover with the possibility of working over 3-5 days a week (Mon-Fri). The role could be undertaken as a blended position with a mix of working remotely through MS teams/Outlook and working on campus, however solely working on campus is also an option.
