A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a driven and customer-focused Recruitment Service Assistant at Lancaster University’s new Employment and Recruitment Service. The service is an exciting new initiative, launched in September 2014 managing in-house temporary recruitment on behalf of the University and operating as a commercial temporary & permanent recruitment service within the local area to gain employment opportunities for Lancaster’s Students and Graduates.

Working at a student-facing Recruitment Service Desk, you will be a confident communicator proficient in a range of media, be able to analyse bulk data, be proactive in solving problems with a proven track record in outstanding customer service and have a keen eye for detail. You will demonstrate the ability to deliver outstanding customer service and build, manage and maintain long-term relationships, and enjoy financial processes including issuing timesheet administration, payroll queries, invoices, and budget reconciliation.

You will be a service driven and results-orientated with excellent general IT and administrative skills and have a good first level of education (minimum 5 GCSEs Grades A-C, including Maths and English). This is a great opportunity for an administrator looking for the opportunity to support a new recruitment process within the world of student and graduate employment at one the UK’s leading Higher Education Institutes.

This is a full-time permanent role with hybrid working options.
