The Department of Organisation, Work and Technology at Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) invites applications from early career academics for appointment to a 12 months, fixed-term, part-time Teaching Associate position in Management and Organisation Studies. The positions will commence as soon as possible with an end date of 30th September 2025.

We are particularly interested in candidates with some evidence of capacity to deliver excellent teaching in areas such as: management and organisational behaviour, business ethics and sustainability, as well as research methods.  We welcome applications both from early career academics, having just submitted or recently received their PhD, as well as more experienced academics looking for an opportunity to further develop their skills and benefit from being involved in a vibrant and dynamic department with exciting intellectual directions. The Teaching Associate will undertake teaching, marking, module direction and academic administrative management activities within the Department – mainly in the provision of post-graduate tutorials and marking.  The successful candidates will join a highly motivated team of academics committed to providing students with a rewarding learning experience and ensuring employability skill development is embedded within the curriculum.

The department offers an excellent research environment, with a high level of collegiality, a strong seminar series, and strong collaborations with departments in the social sciences and health research, supported through joint appointments.
