About Us

The university places great emphasis on a strong student experience: students broaden their horizons, learn new subjects, find new perspectives and discover new experiences as part of a global community.

We attract outstanding students from many different backgrounds and deliver a high-quality education in the UK and overseas, equipping our graduates to succeed in their chosen careers.

Our strategic global partnerships offer Lancaster degrees in China, Germany, Ghana, Malaysia and Indonesia. The vision is to offer a full university experience across teaching, research and engagement, enhancing our reputation as a transnational University to operate as interconnected campuses - a global HE ecosystem enabling a distinctive offer and brand.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity, suitable for applicants who wish to gain experience of working in a global team, supporting students to gain skills through our portfolio of opportunities.  This varied and challenging role would suit an administrator with the ability to demonstrate impressive organisational and administrative skills, have strong interpersonal skills and would be an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a student-facing role. This is ideally suited to a highly motivated team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work calmly under pressure.

The Team

The Global Experiences team are responsible for student mobility and internationalisation, including:

  • Study Abroad
  • Summer schools
  • Short programmes overseas
  • Internationalisation and digital projects
  • Mobility funding

It is a very busy team with a wide range of activity across the year. This drives us to be innovative and responsive to the many changes that impact student mobility.
