The Organisational Development team, located within the People and Organisational Effectiveness Division, delivers development opportunities for staff across the University. This includes a wide range of programmes and workshops offered to academic, researcher and professional services staff. 

As the apprentice administrative assistant within the Organisational Development team you will support the administration of the programmes and workshops and deal with enquiries to offer an efficient and effective service to our staff. You will help to maintain accurate records including financial and HR records. 

In addition to the programmes and workshops you will provide administrative support for other projects and initiatives and will at times be required to work across the Division. 

You will work as part of a busy team and will need to pay attention to detail and work well with the colleagues within your team. 

You will learn on the job and work towards a Level 3 apprenticeship in Business Administration.  The apprenticeship will include off-the-job training to allow you to achieve all the knowledge, skills and behaviors required of the apprenticeship.

This role is offered on a part-time, 22.5 hours per week contract for a period of two years. The role will be based mainly on campus and the typical days of working are Tuesday-Thursday, although there may be some flexibility.
