An opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and proactive individuals to join our User Services team. The Library Services Advisors will work as part of a team responding to Library enquiries in person and online, and supporting students, staff, researchers, and community members both on and off-campus.
Library users are at the heart of everything we do, and these roles are critical to our success. You will become part of an enquiry team delivering front-line customer service excellence across Library opening hours, and via existing and emerging communication channels. The team provide a proactive, welcoming presence to all our users and assist in maintaining and developing the Library as an outstanding study environment.
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate confidently with colleagues, students, University staff and external contacts. Reliability and previous experience of team working in a customer-focused role are essential, as well as the ability to use initiative and be self-motivated.

Saturday and Sunday 1.45 to 22.00
This is fixed term contract to 31st July 2026
