Information Systems Services (ISS) is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Senior AV/IT Engineer (Teaching and Events) to join our Campus IT team within Service Management and Delivery Section. The role is primarily based on the Lancaster University Bailrigg campus.
As a Senior AV/IT Engineer (Teaching and Events), you will be part of a specialist team providing second-line support for the University's IT and audio-visual services, with a particular focus on teaching spaces, event venues and conference facilities. You will support the delivery of key University events and work closely with internal colleagues, external suppliers and contractors to implement and commission technical solutions as part of teaching space upgrades, refurbishments and new installations. The role encompasses a broad range of technologies, including IT infrastructure, audio systems, video collaboration solutions and presentation technologies, ensuring high-quality experiences for staff, students and visitors.
You must have experience of working in a team-based IT service environment as well as experience of PC and AV systems. You will combine your Audio Visual, IT and problem-solving skills with a strong user-focus to ensure excellent service to the user community.
