Following the award of funds from the National Institute for Health and Social Care Research, Lancaster Medical School are looking for a Senior Research Associate to join a team looking to develop new infrastructures for supporting decision making for radiotherapy for gynaecological cancer. 

You will work alongside the Project’s Research Fellow and the joint lead applicants based at Lancaster and Bangor Universities but will be based at Lancaster University in the Faculty of Health and Medicine.

The main responsibility of the role is to take responsibility for collecting information on current models and methods for shared decision-making during consent for radiotherapy for gynaecological cancer, working with other members of the research team including co-investigators from project partners, The Christie Hospital, Radiotherapy UK, Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and South Tees Hospital. 

You will have experience of research in a clinical or academic setting and some understanding of policy document analysis.
