Our People and Operational Effectiveness (POE) team is dynamic, collegiate and looks after all aspects of the employee life cycle. The role of Assistant HR Business Partner in the Employee Relations and Organisational Change is a new role and offers an exciting opportunity to gain experience as a junior HR Business Partner whilst being part of a specialist team. As a member of the Employee Relations and Organisational Design team, you will work on the development of the Employee Relations Strategy, and be part of the team that will have collective accountability for its delivery across the University as a whole. This role will take an active role in Organisational Change projects and work closely with our HR Partnering team with a particular focus on re-structures, redundancy, and consultations across the University. 

The successful candidate will have an excellent track record of being involved in Employee Relations issues including casework up to final written warning/ dismissal level, and show evidence of Organisational Change experience in particular consultations, re-design of roles and working with Trade Unions. The post requires a someone who works collaboratively with all of its stakeholders, in particular Faculty/Department leads. You will also be project lead on the development of Organisational Change processes and procedures, the implementation of an automated Casework system and the development and roll-out of Employee Relations training across the University.
