An opportunity has arisen to work in the Vice Chancellor's Office at Lancaster University to support the Deputy Chief Executive Operations.
The post is to provide maternity cover for the substantive post holder until their return, initially for a 9 month period, with a view that this may potentially be extended.
In a fast-moving and dynamic working environment you will be responsible for ensuring that the Deputy CEO and the wider University executive team has the highest level of support as the role provides continuity of services across the senior team in the case of staff absence. You should have a strong track record of administrative service and operating effective systems. Previous experiences as a Personal Assistant is essential. You will work closely with the executive team based within the Vice-Chancellor’s Office and will help to develop and maintain administrative and support systems to the highest standard. You must be able to operate in a highly professional manner in what is an important front-facing role and will be required to form and maintain a wide range of professional relationships both across the university and with external stakeholders. You should be able to multi-task and will have exceptional organisational, communication and prioritisation skills.
