Lancaster University, through its teams of internally based software developers, leads the sector in developing bespoke software to deliver the best experience possible for all our students and staff, whether they are based at our green campus or located at home, wherever that may be in the world. The Opportunity

We are looking for an innovative and enthusiastic web developer to help in the development of our Student Portal, Staff Intranet and other web systems within the Corporate Information Systems group at Lancaster University.  We have plans for significant developments across these web systems, with an emphasis on delighting the customer in all of our services.

 

What you will need

The successful candidate must be proficient in the required programming languages of Vue.js (or equivalent), C# and have experience of working with databases and API’s.  Experience of GIT for source code management and revision control is desirable. Experience in web UI/UX design would also be desirable.

You must have enthusiasm and a demonstrated capability for problem solving, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and work well in a team.
