Lancaster University’s Department of Sociology is seeking to appoint a self-motivated Teaching Coordinator, on an indefinite contract, for its postgraduate taught and research programmes.

As a member of the professional services Combined Student Office team, you will demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, excellent interpersonal, communication and IT skills. You will show close attention to detail, and have customer or student facing experience, and experience of relevant administrative systems.

You will work closely with academic and professional services staff to deliver a high-quality student experience, with responsibility for the administration of the Department’s postgraduate programmes; including coordination of student registration, maintenance of records, progress, assessments and examination boards.

You should have administrative experience relevant to the role, of communicating effectively with a wide range of people, working as part of a team, and working to deadlines.
