Lancaster Medical School is looking for a proactive and driven individual to join the professional service team for undergraduate medical student assessment as Assessment Assistant.   The post is full time and indefinite.  Providing student focussed professional support for medical assessment including coursework, written and clinical elements you should enjoy working to challenging deadlines and using your initiative.  

As Assessment Assistant you will work closely with a small team, under the supervision of the Assessment Officer to provide an excellent standard of service to academic, clinical colleagues and medical students in the preparation and delivery of high stakes medical assessment.   

The successful candidate will need to work as part of the aforementioned team but also independently and bring proactivity and a ‘can-do’ attitude.  The work requires critical attention to detail skills to ensure the high level of accuracy as well as excellent communication skills, time management and strong IT skills.
