The Department is seeking to recruit a researcher who is at the beginning of an academic career in Management Science. The post provides the opportunity to develop and extend research from a PhD plus the opportunity to work under the guidance of senior colleagues on new projects. There will also be the opportunity to undertake training and develop skills in teaching through assisting in tutorials, workshops and assessment before lecturing and developing your own teaching.
You will have a background and interests in simulation and stochastic modelling and will be expected to join the active research group in this area within the department of Management Science. You will have a PhD (or be close to completing one) and want to develop an academic career. You will be encouraged to engage with external organisations as well as conducting academic research.
