We are looking to attract an enthusiastic and proactive colleague who will have lead professional responsibility for academic quality assurance enhancement within the world-ranked and highly ambitious Lancaster University Management School.

As a member of both the Faculty Office and the University Academic Standards and Quality teams, you will be part of a specialist and supportive community of practice.  You will contribute to the development, review, revision and implementation of quality assurance and enhancement policies and procedures for the dual purposes of assurance and of providing a challenging and inspiring education for our students that leads to enhanced career opportunities. 

The role will be varied and challenging and you will need to work successfully with a wide variety of people including academic staff, professional colleagues and external partners and contributors.  You should be able to work independently and have an excellent understanding of working and influencing in a research-led academic environment.  You will bring rich expertise and experience and an ambition to provide an exceptionally high standard of professional support. You should enjoy working in a busy, demanding environment and will have excellent communication, relationship building, and influencing and negotiation skills. 

This is a fixed-term post for two years.
