Infrastructure Systems Developer

ISS - Technical Infrastructure Group
Salary:   £34,189 to £39,609
Closing Date:   Wednesday 11 September 2019
Interview Date:   Monday 23 September 2019
Reference:  A2624-R

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated and well-organised team player to join the ISS division.

Based just outside the beautiful city of Lancaster and ideally located near to the Lake District, Lancaster University is ranked in the UK Top 10 and is in the top 1% of universities globally. Digital Lancaster is our ambitious vision to support the University through technology - as a member of ISS you will be supporting this exciting transformation.

Working within the Identity and Architecture team, you will assist in developing and supporting the technical services underpinning the IT services used across the University. Your primary focus will be developing systems, which support our in-house identity access management services. You will bring programming skills and a proven record of delivery. You must have enthusiasm and a demonstrated capability for problem solving, developing new competencies, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and work well in a team.

This is a full time, indefinite role. You will be mentored by experienced practitioners and there will be plenty of opportunity for personal development and training. Applications from recent graduates are welcome.

If you would like further information and an opportunity to discuss the role, please contact Stephen Hall on s.hall7@lancaster.ac.uk.

We particularly welcome applications from women for this role in order to increase our staff diversity in this part of the University.
