The Division of Health Research, which is located in the Faculty of Health and Medicine, is seeking to appoint a Lecturer to join an innovative department with a high quality research active environment offering a range of postgraduate and undergraduate courses.

We are seeking to enhance our already strong national and international profile of excellence by making an academic appointment to complement our existing strength in palliative and end of life care and to further develop our research and teaching in this area.  Applicants must be able to demonstrate the potential to make a high quality contribution to the future profile of research conducted by the International Observatory on End of Life Care and the Division more widely.

You will have a PhD (or have submitted your thesis for examination) in palliative care or a relevant discipline such as ageing, dementia or health research and have appropriate experience in palliative care research. You will also be able to deliver high quality and engaging teaching involving both face-to-face and distance learning at Masters and Doctoral level.
