Lancaster Medical School is an emerging department within one of the top ten UK universities with excellent student satisfaction scores. The opportunity has arisen to join a committed team at this exciting stage in the development of Lancaster Medical School.

You will join a team of highly dedicated, experienced and enthusiastic colleagues within the Medical School, to deliver teaching within our Health, Culture & Society theme, and will work closely with the Director of Admissions to lead on the delivery of the widening participation strategy for Lancaster Medical School. 

You will be supported to develop your own programme of research, and will be encouraged to develop collaborative research within the Faculty, in line with our research strategy. You will also be encouraged to supervise dissertation projects and PhD students.

The Faculty strategy has teaching and research collaborations with NHS colleagues as a priority and you will have the opportunity to develop your research activity and contribute to teaching, learning and assessment in collaboration with clinical colleagues and academic colleagues with a very wide range of expertise.
