We are seeking to appoint an additional Learning Developer (Mathematics and Statistics) to join our team at Lancaster University. Lancaster enjoys a top-ten ranking in the UK University league tables and was awarded Gold in the Teaching Excellence Framework exercise. 

The Mathematics and Statistics Learning Development team has expanded recently to include three full-time roles. You will work under the guidance of the team leader, delivering workshops and one-to-one advice in close consultation with programme leads in selected disciplines within the Faculties of Science and Technology, and Health and Medicine. Some of the workshops will be embedded within subject areas and others will stand alone.

We are looking to recruit an individual with a postgraduate qualification, relevant experience of teaching maths and statistics in higher education and preferably a teaching qualification. You will have knowledge of the maths and statistics challenges facing undergraduate students in STEM subjects and be able to respond flexibly to evolving student needs. You will be able to demonstrate evidence of working in a collegiate and supportive way with colleagues and students from a diverse range of educational and cultural backgrounds.
