Applicants are sought for the important role of Head of Academic Standards and Quality (ASQ) at Lancaster University.  Leading a team of functional specialists, the Head of ASQ is responsible for the management and oversight of policies and procedures that ensure the maintenance of standards and the enhancement of quality of the University’s awards wherever they are delivered.

Reporting to the Academic Registrar, the successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of working within a highly regulated, high profile environment, and of fulfilling assurance and compliance requirements in support of strategic objectives. 

Highly emotionally intelligent, with significant recent experience of managing and motivating a diverse team, the role holder will build positive relationships and work collaboratively with a range of colleagues across the University and its collaborative partners in the UK and overseas.

This is a full time, indefinite role.
