Assistant HR Partner - Reward Projects

Colleagues will be aware that the University has recently submitted our institutional Athena SWAN plan and we await the outcome. The plan contains a number of ambitious actions, targets and mini HR projects which will require a collective focus from across the HR Division. Many of the actions support us in expediting things we have wanted to progress anyway. To support this collective endeavour an additional 4 FTE roles have been approved which will be located within the HR Division. 

These roles should be seen as development and promotional opportunities and we encourage internal applications either on a secondment basis or, as all posts have been funded for a minimum of 2 years, indefinite contracts. 

As a member of the Reward Team within the HR Division, you will provide leadership to cross institutional HR projects and improvement initiatives relating to reward and recognition at Lancaster, and therefore contributing to the delivery of the 4-year institutional Athena SWAN action plan. 

The projects that you will lead and deliver include policy and process changes relating to reward and recognition for both academic and professional services staff. 

You will have a flexible approach with the necessary influence and resilience to progress organisational change initiatives.
