Lecturer in Language Teaching and Learning x2

You will have A PhD (or award within 12 months) and relevant research experience in second/foreign language teaching and learning. Expertise in foreign/second language teaching pedagogy and language teacher education is an advantage. You will join internationally known researchers and teachers in such related fields as Language Testing, Literacy Research, Second Language Acquisition, Language Teaching and Learning, Cognitive Linguistics, Corpus Linguistics, English Language study, Sociolinguistics, Phonology, and Discourse Studies.

You will pursue research and publication at a level appropriate for submission to the Research Excellence Framework in 2013 and will be expected to supervise MA and PhD students.  You will teach on MA modules in second/foreign language teaching and learning and contribute to some undergraduate modules. You may also need to travel occasionally for delivery of short distance courses.
