The post holder for this exciting new role will be responsible for the development and delivery of a series of high quality initiatives and activities that attract widening participation (WP) students to Lancaster and specifically to the faculties of Science and Technology and Health and Medicine.

The successful candidate will be an experienced practitioner with knowledge of the student lifecycle in higher education as well as previous experience of delivering outreach activities and programmes and with strong project management experience.

The role holder must be willing to work flexible hours as the role will require occasional weekend, early morning or late night working as well as occasional periods away from home. 

You should be able to work on your own initiative, have excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills and be able to communicate confidently, fluently and knowledgeably with a range of stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
