Lancaster Institute for the Contemporary Art seeks to appoint a technician.  Working closely with other members of the technical team you will play a key role in delivering specialist technical provision and support across LICA’s teaching, research and assessment, and Lancaster Arts public/professional programmes. 

You will ensure day-to-day technical support of the highest professional quality, taking specific responsibility for one or more areas of technical delivery across LICA’s core academic and artistic provision. You will play an important role in ensuring that LICA’s technical support is of the highest professional standard, and that the student and professional artist experience is safe, positive and supportive.

You will provide specific expertise and delivery in the following areas:-

• Film production
• Video editing
• Cinematography
• Digital photography
• Adobe Creative Suite
• Other digital media
