This is a fantastic opportunity to work in Lancaster University’s marketing team, working closely with the Faculty of Health and Medicine’s (FHM) Marketing Manager. The FHM marketing team is a new team responsible for leading the development and delivery of marketing communications across multiple platforms to meet the Faculty’s student recruitment goals.
You will have experience in the delivery of campaigns or activities to reach target markets, you will bring innovation and creativity to the role and help in developing the reputation of Lancaster University as a world class institution. You will have experience of writing engaging content for print, web, social media and email marketing. Excellent IT skills are essential, in particular experience of web content management systems (CMS) and email marketing software would be an advantage.
The ability to work on your own initiative, prioritise and manage a diverse workload is essential. You will be confident in communicating with a range of people from a variety of backgrounds. With a passion for marketing, you will be keen to stay up to date with marketing trends from the higher education sector and beyond.
This is a new and indefinite appointment at 0.8 FTE. There may be some occasional evening and weekend working, for example, University Open Days.
