Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) is one of the UK’s leading Management Schools.  We are proud of our strong collegial culture that places research at the heart of our success informing both our teaching and engagement activities.  The post of Executive Assistant plays an influential part in helping us to achieve our ambitions through the support and facilitation of strategic initiatives.

We are looking to attract someone to the post of Executive Assistant to the Dean (and senior management), who is motivated to provide a high level of administrative support in relation to the operations of the Deans office and interconnecting strategic initiatives.  You will have experience of providing support at an executive level, with the ability to prioritise whilst working independently on a number of projects at once, ensuring accuracy and delivering to agreed timelines. This post requires an individual with a high level of integrity, the ability to interpret and direct activity, and the motivation to contribute to ongoing projects and initiatives. You must feel comfortable working with colleagues at all levels, working with diplomacy and confidence. The Executive Assistant will act as a seamless extension of the leadership team, building effective relationships throughout the University.

In return, LUMS can offer the opportunity to work in a stimulating and progressive environment. Lancaster University’s success depends on talented, creative and motivated people who work hard to make the University special and distinctive. We are committed to attracting, developing and retaining the best staff, celebrating equality and diversity, and recognising how all staff contribute to, and enhance, our overall success.
