Project Administrator: SeaFoodAge Project: Designing novel packaging for promoting ready-to-eat seafood products to senior citizens in Europe.

This post is co-financed by the European Development Fund through the INTERREG Atlantic Area Programme and is a collaboration between Lancaster University, and several organizations across Atlantic Area Europe.

The EU has set various priority actions to reduce the burden of malnutrition and unacceptable levels of food insecurity for specific vulnerable populations, such as older people. SeaFood-Age is a transnational joint effort aimed at creating solutions towards healthier ageing and a circular economy seafood sector. 

You will be expected to provide overall administrative management and support for the delivery of the project working very closely with the Lancaster University Project Support Unit, the academic Investigators and the research associate. Also you will create and prepare financial and administrative reports and supportive documentation liaising closely with the Project Support Unit and support communication and engagement, as and when necessary, with the project consortium in Europe and the UK.

This is a 0.3 FTE (11 hours per week) fixed term appointment for 32 months in line with external funding.  

Expected start date: Mid August/Early September.
