You will also be responsible for providing operational support to our part-time officers and liberation/section student groups and student welfare officers, on the day-to-day running of their activities, helping them to increase participation and engagement in their respective areas, plan and deliver wellbeing initiatives and campaigns and supporting them to further embed their work across our wider democratic and representative structures to ensure there is greater intersectionality and diversity of voice within the organisation,

As an expert in democracy, you will also help lead change by supporting the operational delivery of our democratic and representative structures, helping to facilitate our annual elections procedures and share responsibility with other members of the team in the training and induction of new student officers. You will also help advise officers and staff on how to further develop and enhance our democratic structures, allowing us to ensure that we remain engaging, transparent and accessible to our members.

This is an incredibly exciting post and an opportunity for an ambitious and creative individual to help shape and enhance one of our most important areas of work.
