You will provide high-level administrative support for medical assessment, coordinating a wide range of assessment activities with particular responsibility for the clinical assessment administration.

Excellent administrative and organisational skills and experience of using Microsoft Office packages at an advanced level are essential, as is the ability to work flexibly as part of a rapidly expanding department. You must possess a calm, flexible adaptable approach with a keen eye for detail.  Ideally, you will have previous relevant administrative experience in a higher education or NHS background.

The Faculty provides an environment that strongly supports the individual needs of each employee, promoting a healthy work-life balance. We are committed to family-friendly and flexible working policies on an individual basis, as well as the Athena SWAN Charter, which recognises and celebrates good employment practice undertaken to address gender equality in higher education and research.

Please note that there is some working required, outside of normal office hours and peak busy times of the year run from mid-January to the start of March and June until mid-August.  The willingness to travel to the clinical assessment sites in the local NHS trusts is essential.

Applications for flexible, part time or job share working are welcome, subject to business need.

This is a full-time, permanent post and is subject to a 12-month probationary period.
