The Timetabling Office is seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic colleague to work within the central team. You will be expected to provide a customer focused approach to responding to requests for room bookings from a range of University staff and students. You will also be supporting the timetabling team with tasks related to the production and maintenance of the academic timetable.   

This role will respond to requests for room bookings from a range of stakeholders across the university and allocate spaces in line with room booking processes. This role will also provide an exciting opportunity to be involved in the timetable production and be part of an enthusiastic team.

You will have experience in an educational environment, ideally with knowledge of timetabling process and work effectively as part of a team. You will also have excellent IT and communication skills along with a strong customer service ethos. Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task and prioritise are essential elements of this role. Remote digital working is required due to current COVID-19 restrictions, but full training will be provided. This is a varied and challenging role which offers wide scope for personal and professional development.

This position is for a full-time 6 month fixed-term period in the first instance. The post may be offered as a Secondment Opportunity.
