The Timetabling Office, is seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic colleague to work within the central team. You will be expected to provide high levels of support to Departments within one the four Faculties in the production and ongoing maintenance of the University’s Academic Timetable.  You will be an effective first point of contact for Departmental staff, responding proactively to enquiries and requests for changes along with providing advice and guidance on timetabling processes.   

This role will work with Departments to receive and check timetable requirements and respond to ongoing requests during the academic year. This role will also provide an exciting opportunity to develop close relationships with Departments and meet staff across the university

You will have experience in an educational environment, ideally with knowledge of timetabling process and work effectively as part of a team. You will also have excellent IT and communication skills along with a strong customer service ethos. Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task and prioritise are essential elements of this role. Remote, digital working is required due to current COVID-19 restrictions, but full training will be provided. This is a varied and challenging role which offers wide scope for personal and professional development.

This position is for a full-time 6 month fixed-term period in the first instance. The post may be offered as a Secondment Opportunity.
