We believe in nurturing potential for all and attracting top talent, be they students or staff.

Lancaster University Management School is typically ranked in the UK’s top ten and among the World’s top 100 business schools.

An opportunity has arisen for a full-time role within the Department of Accounting and Finance for a Student Support Assistant. This opportunity would be suitable for applicants who wish to gain experience of working in a busy thriving department with a high number of undergraduate and postgraduate students and a growing number of degree programmes. This role would support both the undergraduate and postgraduate student offerings, and would be an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a student facing role. Full training will be given and you will work alongside the existing successful departmental team.

You will be required to work towards an apprenticeship qualification on a 0.2FTE basis which the department will support.

Digital working is currently required because of restrictions and required training will be provided.  We are hoping to be able to offer a flexible way of working in the future.

You should be numerate, have excellent administrative and IT skills, be able to juggle a busy workload, and have an enthusiasm for the role. This varied and challenging role offers wide scope for personal and professional development.

The role is offered on a full-time indefinite basis.

Annual leave may be restricted at certain peak times of the year, and this will be discussed with shortlisted applicants.
