Careers and Employability is an award-winning student facing service that provides regular communication to students, staff and graduate employers about our offer including workshops, employer led events and the opportunities in student placements or in graduate work.

We have an exciting part time role (22 hours per week) to help Lancaster University  undergraduate and postgraduate students and graduates from all faculties use our services to manage  their career progression, and navigate the many opportunities to enhance their employability and kick start their graduate career.

Your role will be to promote our services so we are looking for someone to join the team with an interest in and a flair for design to reach busy students with messages that have impact and really stand out in their mailboxes, twitter and Instagram  feeds and on all the other crowded social media channels.  Your marketing and communication of our services will provide an essential part in helping our students and graduates to ensure they can prepare as best they can for an uncertain future.

This busy and varied role reports to the Employer Engagement Manager. You will support the entire team in their work, from addressing initial student or employer enquiries to supporting and managing events such as Careers Fairs, employer visits, the Lancaster Award, posting job vacancies and meeting and greeting graduate employers online and on campus.

For an informal discussion about the role – contact Tara McLaughlin Head of Employer Engagement https://teams.microsoft.com/l/chat/0/0?users=t.mclaughlin@lancaster.ac.uk
