            <p id="isPasted">The School of Global Affairs at Lancaster University is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Late Medieval / Early Modern History (1400-1700). This is a 1.0 FTE indefinite appointment to start on 1 August 2026.</p><p>The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching as well as research student supervision, and we particularly encourage applications from candidates able to teach Tudor history. The appointee will be expected to play a full role as a member of the History community at Lancaster.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>About you</strong></p><p>You will have completed their PhD and should have experience of undergraduate teaching and, ideally, of postgraduate teaching as well. You should have a strong track record of high-quality publications relative to their career stage and a coherent five-year plan of research activity that will produce further high-quality outputs suitable for return to current and future REF exercises.</p><p>You will also be expected to show a willingness to develop research projects with the potential to attract funding from major funders.             <p id="isPasted"><u>Lecturer in Law (Core) Grade 7/8</u></p><p><u>12 month fixed-term</u></p><p>Lancaster University School of Law is a vibrant, research-intensive Law School that strives to produce an outstanding educational experience for its students. &nbsp;We seek to appoint a 12 month, fixed-term Lecturer in Law. &nbsp;Expertise in all areas of law are welcome but an ability to contribute to teaching across the School&rsquo;s core undergraduate LLB modules is essential. As part of your role, you will be expected to supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students. You will also take on administrative duties and/or leadership roles as requested by the School.</p><p>The post is offered on a Teaching &amp; Scholarship basis. &nbsp;You will be required to develop a programme of personal scholarship in your chosen field of study, applying this to your teaching and leadership activities.</p><p>Lancaster University is a UK top 10 University (Complete University Guide 2026).             <p id="isPasted"><u>Lecturers in Corporate Law Grade 7/8 x2</u></p><p>Lancaster University School of Law is a vibrant, research-intensive Law School that strives to produce an outstanding educational experience for its students. &nbsp;We seek to appoint two Lecturers in Corporate Law to contribute across the School&rsquo;s undergraduate corporate law modules and also to our LLM in International Commercial and Corporate Law. &nbsp; An ability to teach EU law would be an advantage but is not essential. &nbsp;As part of your role, you will be expected to supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students. You will also take on administrative duties and/or leadership roles as requested by the School. The post will be offered on either a Teaching &amp; Research or Teaching &amp; Scholarship basis.</p><p>For the Teaching &amp; Research role, you will pursue impactful research and deliver publications of a high quality and at a level appropriate for a strong submission to the next Research Excellence Framework. &nbsp;For the Teaching &amp; Scholarship role you will be required to develop a programme of personal scholarship in your chosen field of study, applying this to your teaching and leadership activities.</p><p>Lancaster University is a UK top 10 University (Complete University Guide 2026). The School of Law is consistently ranked in the top quartile of UK league tables and has an excellent track record in National Student Survey results (5<sup>th</sup> in the UK for student experience in the Complete University Guide 2025). The School has a vibrant teaching and research culture, with interdisciplinary collaborations, and a cohort of around 50 PhD students studying a range of different legal areas.</p><p>The School has over 45 academic members of staff and is committed to making a positive impact on people&#39;s lives as well as academic excellence &ndash; over 80% of the School&#39;s research was rated as being internationally excellent or world leading in the 2021 Research Assessment Exercise. &nbsp;We excelled in particular in relation to impact, being ranked at 6<sup>th</sup> in the UK on this measure.
